I wonder how far would Google expanding authority get…
As a google Fan, i use alot of what Google has to offer, however i can’t stop thinking about the expanding power Google has on us.
Lack of privacy was already talked about, but it doesnt stop poeple from using Gmail to recieve bank statements or classified company documents.
what about google’s cache which is now a feature of all other search engines too?
Imagin a harmful picture or an article on some website which was dropped after legal actions, however this picture or article is probably still available on search engines cache.
Another expanding behavior of search engines, is to adapt google’s Adsense trick.
If you are using your Gmail for bank statements or delicate private stuff keep in mind that having Adsense in Gmail and seeing ads chaning based on the content of your emails just explicitly point out “We ARE watching you…”
And now Terrorists taking google’s advandages off the web.
I just can’t wait to see how far this can go…
